To think the Leadership. Chair in LeadershipS and Democratic Governance

5th Edition - 2011

For quite a few years now a good number of Esade professors in a variety of fields have been researching the nature and characteristics of leadership. Their backgrounds and wealth of experience plus their wide range of teaching and theoretical approaches all add up to the considerable pool of knowledge now available to us.

Esade is a privileged place in which to work and study, where business, political, social and cultural leaders have helped us understand the dimensions of leadership from the viewpoint of the characteristic traits of the public, private and social sectors, in addition to providing an insight into new aspects of each of these realms.

The creation of the Chair of LeadershipS and Democratic Governance now also enables us to analyse and strengthen ways of structuring and organising different types of leadership in addition to studying innovative ways of implementing them in complex settings.

The programme To Think the Leadership is an excellent opportunity to systematise reflections on and visions of leadership as well as serving as a platform to exchange, share, and create knowledge and develop theories about this subject.
