3rd session of the 10th ESADE-Deloitte Lecture Series: Tomás Pascual Gómez-Cuétara, Chairman of Calidad Pascual

ESADE is pleased to invite you to the second session of the “Family Businesses of the 21st Century: Challenges and Opportunities” Lecture Series organised jointly by ESADE and Deloitte.

Tomás Pascual Gómez-Cuétara, Chairman of Calidad Pascual, will be our guest speaker at this session, entitled “History of a Family Business”.

Calidad Pascual, a family business with a consolidated set of values that sets the company apart in the food and beverage industry, was founded in 1969 in Aranda de Duero, Burgos. The company quickly expanded throughout Spain and now exports to more than 60 countries. With more than 200 products, six plants, 27 local offices and more than 2,300 employees, the company’s main activity is the preparation, packaging, distribution and sale of Pascual-branded dairy products, Bezoya mineral water, Vivesoy vegetable drinks, as well as the Bifrutas, Mocay Caffè and DiaBalance product lines.

At this session, Tomás Pascual Gómez-Cuétara will share the history of this family business founded by his parents, Tomás Pascual and Pilar Gómez-Cuétara. He will take us on a journey through time, describing the most important milestones in the company’s processes of intergenerational continuity, from its roots until the present day.

The story continues with a group of siblings who shared their parents’ desire to work together and create sustainable, values-based business projects, laying the groundwork for a company that would continue into the third generation.
